The new and improved 2011 Hyundai Sonata mid-sized sedan was already a very attractive and reasonably priced option for customers looking for luxury family sedans. The first option will interest buyers looking for a high-performance sedan. Hyundai’s version is powered by a 2.0 liter, four-cylinder engine which is expected to produce around 250 horsepower following the installation of a turbocharger. The motor will increase the horsepower of the Sonata to a much higher level than its base engine but will still maintain good fuel mileage, estimated to be in the range of 35 miles per gallon.

After the launch of Genesis sedan, which tasted success even at a time when most of the carmakers felt the pinch of recession, Hyundai gears up to fire two fresh, new models. This time Hyundai tests the waters in the luxury segment with two higher-quality vehicles - the Hyundai Equus and Hyundai Tucson.

With an expected price tag between $50,000 and $60,000, the Equus will undercut its competition by thousands of dollars and give its competitors a run for their money.
